Who are the players Alpha, Gamma and Delta?

Alpha, Gamma and Delta are computer-robots, based on the GNU chess engine. They are for beginners (and not as expert as Fritz, Shredder or Chessmaster). C Alpha = Strongest C Gamma = Average C Delta = Weakest Currently, you can only play a training game with these robots. You cannot start a new game with them. These robots help you to evaluate a given position by "trying it with your own hands". While playing with them, you can propose anything to them - they will accept any proposal. We hope you enjoy playing with them!
