What does "Classic", "Rapid", "Blitz" and "Lightning" mean?

InstantChess divides games with different time-settings into the following four categories:

Lightning: 1 - 4:59 minutes per game
Blitz: 5 - 14:59 minutes per game
Rapid: 15 - 29:59 minutes per game
Classic: 30 minutes and more per game

Subscribers have separate rating for each category.
